The lovely, Joy over at Joy's Quilts tagged me in a little "getting to know you" meme.
What would be your dream job?
Hands down - a librarian! I started college with the intentions of getting my Masters in Library Science. Due to lack of maturity and a lack of interest in 'learnin', the thoughts of continuing on to get a Masters after my college graduation were just more than I could fathom. So for the past 14 years, I've been Programming - and it's not all that bad!
Where would you like to live?
I LOVE living right here in Trussville, Alabama.
In what century would you like to live?
This one of course!
What would be your last meal?
Now this is a hard one! If I had to pick, I think I would go with some Pasta Milano from Macaroni Grill and garlic bread. For dessert, blackberry cobbler with vanilla bean ice cream!
What made you start a blog?
I was reading Mama Hen's blog everyday and well, who doesn't want to be like their big sis???
What is your favorite piece of clothing?
My cowgirl boots!
What's your favorite film?
Just one??? Gone With the Wind
What would you like to do before you turn 100?
run a 10K, hold my niece and nephew's babies, meet Derek Jeter, go to Niagra Falls... oh, the list just goes on and on
Now it is your turn!I tag...
Hope y'all will play along! If I didn't tag you, I hope you'll do the Meme and leave me a comment. I would love to read your answers!

Ah, I think librarian would be my second choice!! Surrounded by lots of books... and I could bring a quilt with me in the winter to keep warm... hee hee!
Thanks for joining in on the fun!

Joy
Jill, you would have made a great librarian! And I will go to Niagra Falls with you :)
Haha, I always wanted to be a librarian for the longest time. Then I switched it up a bit, I'll have to try to get to this over the weekend! You've got me craving blackberry cobbler now. Mmmmmmmm, AND for breakfast!
Fun, also now I'm hungry!
Cute meme Jill! Loved learning a little more about you! You would be just the cutest librarian ever!!
Have a joyful Sunday!
Love and hugs,
Becky
I'm thinking you might want to run the 10K before you get too close, like say at least by 99 1/2. 100 seems a bit - you know, optimistic.
Derek Jeter, though - you could meet him for your 100th birthday.
How fun! And yes, Trussville is a pretty cool place. I love driving through there - it's so cute and has lots of character.
Ah shoot! I just saw this today..I'm a little behind! I will totally do it this week for sure!
And yummmmm on the blackberry cobbler with vanilla bean ice cream...can I get a bowl to go please?
Fun getting to know you meme!! I would love to be a librarian in an elementary school!! and I wish I had cowgirl boots!! ;) I have been inspired by a couple of real life friends and a couple of blog friends (Janna & Nancy) to train for a mini triathlon this year!! I ran/walked a 10k when I was 22? ... running is just not my thing... it will kill me to do the run part of the tri!! ha ha! Have a great week!
