I know you're curious

Most of the blogs I read are written by some very fabulous mama's. Oh yes, I'm talking about you, and you, and you. At our age, and being married as long as we have, Jay and I get a lot of questions about what we do with our time since we don't have kids. It's like everyone thinks we should have these crazy, exciting lives.

It always makes me laugh when Mama Hen and I talk and she asks what we're going to do over the weekend. My usual answer is pretty much nothing and then she goes into this long deal about how we don't have kids and she just can't believe we don't go out and do stuff. Of course, when I ask her what she thinks we should be doing, she can't come up with anything. That's when I say EXACTLY.

So in case any of you wonder what you'd most likely be doing if you didn't have kids - this is a typical Friday night (except we don't normally take a picture). I get home from work and immediately put on my pajamas. And yes, they're flannel and plaid. Then I get the contacts out and the glasses on. My next order of business is to wait for Hubs to call and tell me he's on his way so we can talk about what he's gonna pick up and bring home for supper. Once he's home, we eat, watch TV or a movie and then I head off to bed to read.

And I wouldn't have it any other way.

That does sound pretty wonderful to me too! Especially the part about the flannel pjs and him bringing home supper!

Yes but, having a QUIET night of cuddling on the couch DOES sound like doing something fantastic!!!!

Can you tell I'm still in the I-have-an-infant-attached-to-me-every-second phase?

if you ever wanna see what it's like to have a 4 year old little fellow, I will pack GB's bag and Jay can pick him up after he picks up dinner for you two. :)
