The Painful Truth

I had my first mammogram today. I was NOT sufficiently warned. I was NOT prepared. I didn't know this was going to happen when I went to my appointment. They should have told me. Someone should have told me.

I love how the nurse said there would be some "slight discomfort". Um yeah, sure if slight discomfort means PAIN.LIKE.NO.OTHER!

If we can put a man on the moon, why can they not find a better, less painful way to do this??? Just something to ponder.

You are behind! I had my first one last summer and my dr told me that day when I got there that would be doing it that day also. I really didn't think it was that bad. It was a little uncomfortable, but it didn't hurt. However, that picture is hilarious!

I didn't know you were going or I would have warned you. Some say it really hurts and some say that didn't hardly feel it. I felt it girl. Takes lots of tylenol!

Oh dear. Sorry about your flat boobies.

I have a friend whose rib was broken during a mammogram. It makes me so scared!!

You can generally tell if something is going to be unpleasant by the number of those ammonia inhalants taped to the equipment.

I thought they had found a better way - at least my doctor's office say they have. But then again, I haven't had one yet.

I've been worried about you and all the tornadoes going through Alabama! Glad to hear that only your boobs have been flattened, and not your house!

They say if it hurts it's because you still have young boobs. So that's something to be thankful for! Cute cartoon! Love the purple nail polish on your toes!
