Bunko Baby

Bunko was at my house tonight and it was really fun. I took your suggestions and made chicken salad. I even got fancy and put the scoops on a lettuce leaf. I also made a big pasta salad and I made a fruit tray of grapes and apples. For dessert I made brownies and served that with frozen yogurt ice-cream. I intended to take a picture of my "spread" but by the time I got my camera, the girls had already started digging in.

I love getting together with these girls. Our group has been playing together for about 6 years. Everyone is pretty different which is what makes it so fun. Everyone has kids except me, some are stay-at-home moms, some work outside the home - I love them all. We all struggle with different things and the same things.

You know how you sometimes have a "moment" when you just feel so thankful. Right now I feel really thankful for my friends. I'm really blessed.

I'm glad it went well and the food sounds delicious. I get one of those moments sometimes when Karen, Rosemary, Pat and I are at supper club. I am very grateful for my friends.

I just had a conversation about how the things that make me feel most humbled are the simplest! So funny!
