Sunday Napping

I just woke up. After Church, we went to lunch with the V's. I don't get out of Church till about 12:30 every week since I work in the nursery and you know how it is waiting for everyone to get out of their classes/service.... No worries by me though - it gave me some extra time to cuddle baby C.

The downside to getting out so late is the HUNGER I feel by the time we leave. We ended up at a VERY popular restaurant in the big city of Trussville, had to wait 30 minutes and OH MY HUNGRY BELLY!!! You know how they say never go to the grocery store hungry? I should never go to a restaurant hungry. Wait, isn't that the point?

Anyway, I ate way too much and I thought my stomach was going to explode. The problem with that (besides the obvious) was that I had planned to go shopping for some new pants for work. I was busting out of the skirt I already had on so I didn't think my fragile ego could handle trying on pants. I ended up coming home, putting on some sweats with elastic and a sweatshirt, and falling asleep on the couch.

I don't feel too bad for taking a little nappie-poo this afternoon since I worked SOOOO hard yesterday CLEANING MY HOUSE. Yes, I'm back to cleaning the house - I no longer have someone come in. I typed myself up a list with each room and exactly what I needed to do in each one. It helps me to be organized that way and something about marking an item off my list makes me smile. I started around 8:30 and finally washed all the grit and grime away in a most wonderful shower at 3:30. My mind felt great about my accomplishment but my feet felt HORRIBLE. It finally hit me that I had been walking around all day in my ballerina slipper house shoes and my house is built on a CONCRETE SLAB! Owww....

Note: I moved Callie's litter box back to the laundry room. I just couldn't stand it being in my bathroom anymore. It remains to be seen what the outcome of that will be.

What popular resturant in Trussville? Daddy and I ate at Aunt Lessie's in Chilton County. We picked up granddaddy after church and carried him to lunch. We visited with him for a while and then with Aunt Em. Tine and Affie were nowhere to be found.

And just who is this baby C you were cuddling today. You are supposed to save all your cuddling for my K!
We had fun last night. The girls spent all afternoon putting on their makeup!

You just gave me an idea. I will start writing down for each room what I need to do. This is a great idea! I had me a nap this afternoon too! We had a late night with friends at our house last night and then had to be at chuch early this morning....so I deserved my sunday afternoon nap too!

Jill, I'm with Cindy. I'll make you a neat list(s), I'll even throw in a cute 3 ring binder that Abbie can decorate. You can come and clean all day and you can mark it off the list or I will give you a sticker. Which ever you prefer. And for payment you can choose which of my children you want to take home with you. They can then mess up your house and you can smile and mark things off your OWN list. Does that sound good?
