As promised, I'm reporting in on my 20 Pounds N 20 Weeks challenge.
I went to Weight Watchers this morning and let's jut say, I didn't hear what I wanted to hear. I only lost .4. Yes, you read that right - point 4.
What?! I'm not gonna lie, I was sad. I failed on Week 1. But, I know the things I did wrong and I will not make the mistakes again this week. Here's what I did wrong:
- I only exercised twice.
- I went over on my points every single day.
- I didn't drink enough water.
- I didn't eat enough fruits and vegetables.
- Exercising 5 days.
- Staying in my points each day.
- Drink more water everyday.
- Eat my fruits and vegetables everyday.
This week, it's On like Donkey Kong and Ping-Pong and anything else you can think of that rhymes!

I was just think about you and how you're doing with your 20 weeks thing! Don't be upset! Unfortunately you're a girl so the pounds don't just fall off of us! You can do it!
it's so true... unlike men, the weight takes awhile to start dropping off of us! hey, at least you lost some!!! that is good news. and you know how you can do better this week so you're bound to lose some more. i'm so excited for you! keep your chin up.
Don't stress over it, once you get into a good routine of working out and healthy eating you will see the results you want. It was only week one and a good learning experience, plus you have 19 more weeks to go, plenty of time!!! Good Luck! :)
i without a doubt enjoy your own posting choice, very charming.
don't give up and also keep penning for the simple reason that it just simply well worth to look through it,
looking forward to browse alot more of your current posts, have a great day :)
Jill you gotta start somewhere and .4 is it this week. Now knock em dead this week and shed those pounds. YOU GO GIRL. Love ya
Identifying what you need to change is half the battle! You're on a great roll! Of course this may not be the time to mention rolls, sorry...
Also remember that if you're doing some strength training type stuff, you may want to measure inches instead of weight. Also feeling good and being healthy is the most important of all!
Hi Jill! Hey, I am right there with ya, gal, and just remember this...we only fail when we stop trying!! I lose 5 regain 3 and so forth!! But I always get back on that horse!! Inch by inch isn't such a cinch, is it?? We'll get there!! Praying for success for us both!!
BTW...I think you look great as you are!!
HUGS,
Becky
Ha! I love the last line!
You can do it! It's always hard to start out on something new - ya gotta figure out what your body needs to succeed...you're starting to motivate me. Or make me feel guilty, one or the other.
you rule.
Hey .4 is better than zero! You are on your way. But you look pretty darn good to me. Where are these 20 lbs supposed to come from?? You are beautiful!! :)
Due to blood pressure and high cholesterol I am on a loose 20 lbs. heart healthy challenge of my own... since Sept. I lost 6-10 lbs from Sept - Dec. taking away white carbs! and most sugars! and walking 5 days a week for at least 1/2 hour.. I have not done so well since Jan! The last 12 lbs has been brutal! I am back on it... I will encourage you!! ;)

Hey Girl, I've been so MIA lately from blogland. I'm catching up on your blog.
I love your goal to lose 20 pounds! I love the chart....great idea!
Jill, so glad you're doing WW! I did it after baby #2 and it was so effective for me. You definitely have to follow the plan tho, but I loved that I could eat sweets if I wanted as long as I counted the POINTS. I'm 5'5" and I started out at 151. I got down to 122 {because I was scared to add more POINTS back in lol}. I hover around 130 now, which is what I think my body thinks my ideal weight it. And I can live with that. :)
I can't wait to see your progress!
I rarely comment, but after reading a few of the
comments on "Not what I hoped for". I actually do have 2 questions for
you if you do not mind. Could it be simply me or do a few of the
remarks appear as if they are written by brain dead people?
:-P And, if you are writing on other online sites, I would like to keep
up with you. Would you make a list of the complete urls of all your social sites like your Facebook page, twitter
feed, or linkedin profile?
